President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf have strongly condemned the blast in Karachi. President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed deep grief over the loss of precious lives. He has sought a report on the incident. The President has directed that best possible medical treatment be provided to the injured of the blast.

Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Saturday strongly condemned the losses of lives and properties in Karachi blast. Meanwhile, Minister for Interior Affairs Abdur Rehman Malik has taken notice of the incident and sought report from officials within 24-hours.

Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira and Interior Minister Rehman Malik have also condemned the blast. Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain also condoled over the blast. The blast which took place at inter-country bus terminal in front of Cantt Station Karachi, killing at least five persons and injuring over forty. The injured were taken to Jinnah Hospital for treatment.
